Hi everyone,
Quick, habitual apology for using my own mailing list
Hoped you liked Series 2 of the newsletter! This isn’t the start of Series 31 but merely an interlude reminding you about my main thing, standup and where you can see me do it. It could, let’s hope, even be the briefest edition of this newsletter yet. Apologies for using my access to your inbox to deliver anything except something I’ve worked very hard on, BUT I’ve got a few things I’d like to point you attention to.
I am doing the Edinburgh Festival
If you don’t follow me on social media, or read to the bottom of a previous newsletter, you might have missed that I will be at the Edinburgh Fringe again this year - but this time it is with my debut hour of stand-up. It’s called ‘Must I Paint You a Picture?’ and I think it’s going to be really good. As of yesterday you can buy tickets HERE and I’d encourage you to do so if you’re going to be at the Festival. Or, to be honest, even if you aren’t and fancied helping me out by artificially juicing demand. But more pressing….
I am doing some warm-up shows for Edinburgh including one tonight in Bristol
… And I would love your attendance at them. I am doing one in a few hours in Bristol at the Room Above which had to be rearranged from yesterday for *reasons* and as such I’m a bit worried about turnout. Apologies for anyone in Bristol who didn’t hear and tried to come to see it yesterday - please please come back! Tickets HERE! Please!
Below are some of the other solo shows I’m doing this spring. The tickets for these (that are currently available) are on my Linktree (which I will update when the others go on sale/I add some more dates.)
Despite the overly self-promoting tone I’m sure this email is striking, lots of the places I’m doing are doing some incredibly cool things, bringing fringe comedy to places where it normally wouldn’t be and I think you should check them out if you live nearby, even if I am not part of that equation.

Final desperate plea to follow me on social media if you don’t already
I really don’t like clogging up people’s inboxes with emails like this which is just me, largely, trying to sell you something. Especially when you are probably geographically ill-placed to buy the thing itself. I can feel the fingers hovering over the unsubscribe button. So if you could follow me on Instagram hopefully the need for these will go down and we can go back to the stories asap. I’ll probably send another reminder just as Edinburgh starts but goodbye till then (follow me on Insta).
Though I have planned it! Plan is for an October release.
